The Likya Gardens is an adult only waterside retreat tucked away in a quiet corner of Kalkan’s vast horseshoe bay yet only a 10 minute stroll from the upmarket harbour town. This quite boutique hotel promises a laid-back shoeoff ambience, the whitewashed exteriors cling to the hillside amid lush gardens rich with hibiscus and bougainvillea. Decked platforms and private cabanas for hotel residents are nestled into the cliff face providing the ultimate sea gazing experience.

There are nine suites in total, six of which have extremely generously sized private swimming pools. The Penthouse has the best jacuzzi terrace in town complete with panoramic views across the bay. Breakfast is served each morning on a beautiful private terrace, reserved for residents, covered with flowers and the endless blue vistas seem to go on forever.

If you can bring yourself to leave your spacious suite, the absolute highlight of the Likya Gardens is the beach club and waterfront location. There are seven private cabanas which belong to the various hotel suites and these are offered on a complimentary basis throughout your stay. Regardless of whether you are luxuriating in a cabana or in a private area at the beach club, you are guaranteed waiter service to your day bed.

The waterside restaurant and barefoot bar are open throughout the day and into the early evening. An array of freshly squeezed seasonal juices, cocktails and refreshing snacks are available for you to order. In the evening it is easy to wander into Kalkan on foot, if you fancy staying local the Likya Pavilion and Likya Residence, sister hotels, are just five minutes away and both have restaurants that are open into the evening.

There are two Waterfront Suites; Huma and Gulbahar located on the second and third floors.

Huma Sultan, Second Floor and Gulbahar Sultan, Third Floor

Luxuriously spacious, doubled bedded suites occupying elevated positions at the top of the main hotel building. The views out to sea from these suites are sensational. Each Waterfront Suite opens onto a private balcony with uninterrupted views across the bay and out to sea.

The balcony is comfortably furnished with tables and chairs, the perfect location to enjoy a sundowner of an evening.

The suite has a free-standing roll-top bath with a view out to sea and a separate ensuite shower.

The interiors exude a laid-back bohemian beach vibe style with wooden floors, whitewashed timber frames and features.

Please note these suites have complimentary use of the beach club but are without pool and cabana access.

The Deluxe Pool Suites Kosem and Hurrem are located on the first and second floors.

Kosem Sultan, first floor and Hurrem Sultan, second floor

Two spacious double-bedded suites situated on the first and second floors. Each open onto a private balcony, with sea views carefully designed to provide an enormous amount of space, comfort and privacy inside and out.

Seagazing can be enjoyed from the private balcony or by following a decked path through the garden terraces to the private freshwater pool (5x10m). This large private space is complete with gazebo and day beds and is yours alone to enjoy.

The suites are light and airy, whitewashed walls have splashes of colour with French-style furnishings and the four-poster bed is draped in floaty, white linen. The large marble bathroom has a walk-in shower.

For those who prefer to dip in the sea you also have your own private cabana over the water with waiter service to your day bed.

Superior Pool Suite

Nurbanu Sultan situated on the first floor.

Nurbanu is undeniably the most popular suite in the hotel and epitomises the laid back, cotton house vibe of The Likya Gardens. The outside space is quirky and comfortable with lots of nooks and crannies to curl up and read a good book. Decked terraces extend on two sides and surround the unusual corner shaped swimming pool.

Inside, this doubled bedded suite is again extremely spacious. Whitewashed interiors have splashes of colour with French-style furnishings and a four poster bed draped in floaty, white linen. The large marble bathroom benefits from a high-sided roll-top bath and a separate shower w/c.

A private waterside cabana with waiter service to your day bed is also included for you to enjoy throughout your stay.

Mihrimah Sultan (The Penthouse, Jacuzzi Suite), 3F & 4F

Renovated for the 2020 season, the Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite has the most spectacular position at the highest point of the hotel, another sought after suite in the property due to its space, privacy and far reaching views across the bay.

The suite is accessed on the third floor where the ensuite bedroom, bathroom and balcony sit while a quirky sitting room above opens onto a rooftop Jacuzzi deck! Unquestionably the best sundowner spot in the hotel!

The whitewashed interiors have splashes of colour, French-style furnishings and a four-poster bed draped in floaty, white linen. The large bathroom benefits from a modern rainfall style shower.

For those seeking further swimming opportunities, a private cabana awaits at the beach club and is included with our compliments throughout your stay.

Garden Pool Houses

Esma Sultan GF, Nilufer Sultan GF and Safiye Sultan GF.

Three individual private entrances lead through colourful lush gardens to these enormous one bedroom Pool Houses. They really offer the epitome of inside-outside living space. Generous decked terraces are comfortably furnished with day beds and tables and chairs. The large freshwater swimming pool (10x5m) is another highlight, the equivalent size of any private villa in Kalkan.

Inside, the suites are vast and open plan with King-size beds and inviting Jacuzzi baths. The entire sea facing side of the suite has floor to ceiling glass windows that open onto the private terraces almost as large as the suites themselves. The heavy foliage and exotic flowers provides peace and privacy around your space.

The whitewashed interiors have splashes of colour and the enormous sofas are dressed with sorbet colour pillows. The bathrooms benefit from a separate Jacuzzi bath and shower w/c.
