The Kaş Peninsula
Kas is a beautiful seaside town on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. It is located 25 km east of Kalkan, situated between Antalya and Fethiye and a short boat trip away from the Greek Island of Kastellorizo (Meis). The 3rd largest Marina in Southern Turkey may be found on the approach to Kas.
Kas by day is a working tourist town with plenty of harbour side cafes, restaurants and boats for daily sailing trips. Beach clubs are dotted around the coastline and for shoppers the town is an ideal place to wander. The small side streets full of colourful shops with an array of pottery, jewellery, clothes etc – a shoppers delight!
By night Kas comes to life.! In addition to the many restaurants it’s a great place to chill and enjoy music in the various bars around the town –quite an international resort with a bohemian style chilled and relaxed.
A popular resort for diving, nearby beaches as well as being part of the Lycian Way.
